The My Career employment center has completed the second wave of the Freedom. Responsibility. Income online program organized together with FrutoNyanya.
Over 200 participants mastered the basics of entrepreneurship and self-employment, enhanced their soft skills and personal competences. Most of the program graduates became self-employed or launched their own business. “With the Freedom. Responsibility. Income program, many Moscow families with small children can start their own business, monetize their hobbies or increase their incomes. The knowledge and motivation they have received while studying will help them believe in themselves, bring their business projects to life and inspire the others by example,” Irina Shvets, Director of the My Career center, commented.
This year the program consisted of 11 modules, including Marketing, Psychology, Economics, Time Management, Legal, etc. Having crystalized their expectations, the students selected their preferred business stream. The experts and coaches helped them create the financial models, define the target audience, pack, promote and sell their products.

20 business initiatives that made it to the final had an extensive agenda, from supporting the socially disadvantaged people to confectionery production. Three most promising projects selected by the competent jury will get 100,000 rubles for implementation from FrutoNyanya, the program partner.
Tatiana Barskaya, a mom of a big family, creates a photo/video content for social media. After 15 years at the Center of Extreme Situations, she realized that for all her life she dreamed of doing something creative. “I am so grateful to My Career, which helps us bring our ideas to life and does everything for people to realize themselves and their dreams! Also, I would like to mention our team of experts – I have never met such lively, inspired and skilled specialists,” the winner in the Business Startup nomination shared her impressions.
Nadezhda Gapon, a mom of three daughters and a former bank clerk, joined the program to develop her project. The winner in the Business Breakthrough nomination bakes gingerbread and makes delicious gifts. “I didn’t come to baking right away. First, I made some accessories, hairpins and bouquets of sweets. Then a saw gingerbread as a promising business idea – cake decoration, gifts, master classes. The Freedom. Responsibility. Income program helped me set the targets and develop my project. I was so happy to learn I had made it to the final! It confirms I am on the right track! Now I am looking forward to new achievements and accomplishments!” Nadezhda said.
Tatiana Sedko won in the Best Service nomination with her master classes on the dried flower decor. Mom of a 4-year-old son, she had spent her career in Finance and Corporate Training until she became interested in floristry. “My master classes are a chance to relax, reenergize and create floral decorations. Thanks to Freedom. Responsibility. Income I can develop my idea further. I was still studying but already getting more customers and orders. I learned many new things and found new sources of motivation. This experience is really invaluable! We had excellent experts and coaches. Everything was organized in the best way possible. I am happy to be a finalist. The journey was not easy – sometimes I did not have enough time, I had to work hard and put a lot of efforts, but it was worth it! Thank you for this amazing program and a chance to make my dream come true. Now I can do what I really love!” Tatiana commented.
The projects #4 and 5 were also awarded with the special prizes from My Career. Olesia Trushkina will have stylist advice for her Product Manager project, and Elena Tresko won a certificate for three professional posts for her Weight Loss School initiative.
